Nonpoint pollution is the Nation’s #1 water quality issue. Pollutants like soil, lawn chemicals (pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers), salt, and petroleum products from driveways, parking lots and roads are rinsed off the earth’s surface by rain or melting snow.
